See the links below for a number of files dealing with what I'm calling "High Speed Multimedia Radio HSMM (Long Range WiFi)".

These are digital communication networks on the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands (amateur and unlicensed frequencies), with data speeds 1 Mbps and up (for text, VOIP, pictures and videos), and distance between network nodes of anywhere from 1 mile to 50 miles. Protocol used on these networks are generally Ethernet and/or TCP/IP.

These files contain information from the very basic concepts to detailed user manuals for the three types radios found in these networks -- point to point, point to multi-point, and mesh networks.

It's quite an interesting wireless networking world out there today. Cities across the country are rolling out these wireless networks in greater and greater numbers. As prevalent as WiFi networks are in our homes today, I see these Long Range WiFi networks soon to be prevalent in the world just outside our homes.

These files are for anyone interested in the subject and wanted a quick introduction to the subject.
